SÉMIOTIQUES DÉJÀ EXISTANTS, PROCESSUS DE NUMÉRISATION QUI OFFRE DES
POTENTIALITÉS IMPORTANTES DANS LE TRAITEMENT DES DONNÉES.
(english) TITLE :Interactivity stagings : Users representations in interactive mediations devices TITLE : Structuralization and communication of informations in documentary or informative multimedia CDRoms Abstract : THIS THESIS IS MAINLY FOCUSED ON A DETAILED ANALYSIS OF TODAY MULTIMEDIA CDROMS WITH A DOCUMENTARY OR INFORMATIVE AIM IN ORDER TO DRAW A LINE ON DIFFERENT TYPES OF INFORMATIONS STRUCTURALIZATION ON FOUR MAIN LEVELS :
AS A MATTER OF FACT, THE STRUCTURAL COMPLEXITY APPEARED TO US AS A FUNDAMENTAL PROPERTY OF MULTIMEDIA CDROMS FOR MANY REASONS : METASEMIOTIC DIMENSION OF THE SYSTEM, DIVERSIFIED USE OF ALREADY-EXISTING SEMIOTIC SYSTEMS, PROCESS OF DIGITALIZATION WHICH OFFERS A GREAT POTENTIAL IN THE DATA PROCESSING. THIS COMPLEXITY IS ADDED WITH A REAL HETEROGENEITY IN THE SENSE OF RICHNESS : VARIOUS POINTS OF VIEW, FITTING OF THE FRAME LEVELS, POSSIBILITY OF OFFERING MORE OPEN STRUCTURING MODES, LESS FIXED IN ADVANCE BY THE DESIGNERS. THEN, THESE ANALYSES ALLOW US TO WIDEN OUR CONCLUSIONS IN THE ACT OF READING AND COMMUNICATION PROPOSED TO THE USER. THE STRUCTURAL VARIETY OF THE CDROM AUTHORIZES HIM TO ORGANIZE HIS CONSULTATION IN A MORE DIVERSIFIED WAY THAN WITH AN ORDINARY BOOK OR AN AUDIOVISUAL ONE. AS A CONSEQUENCE, THE USER MUST GET USED TO A WAY OF READING WHICH REQUIRES AN IMPORTANT COGNITIVE ACTIVITY. FINALLY, THE COMPLEXITY OF THIS PARTICULAR ACT OF READING MUST BE PUT IN CONNECTION WITH THE COMMUNICATION PROCESS MORE OR LESS ORIENTED TOWARDS THE USER NEEDS. THE INTERACTIVITY ORGANIZED BY THE DESIGNER IS ALSO A MULTISHAPE ONE WITH A MORE OR LESS PRAGMATIC AIM.
